Virginia Rose is a thorny deciduous shrub species that will grow about 1.5 m in height. The leaves are alternately arranged, pinnately compound with 7-9 leaflets, are dark green coloured, and have serrated margins. This shrub is fairly hardy and grows easily with little maintenance but pruning may be desired.
Planting conditions
